So this is a blog about an ordinary bunch of people who happen to be caring and compassionate, these are people who want to make a difference to the world, It may not be a huge difference, but we will try to do our part....
For most of us, this is a new and exciting adventure, but for one, Heidi, this is a journey she has already travelled, so all of us, armed with Heidi's experience look forward to the challenges ahead !
WE will head to Phnom Penh in August 2012 to work with an Australian couple, Cheryl and Rodney Cope, who have lived there making a difference to poverty stricken Cambodians for several years. In association with the Charity 'Helping Cambodians Help Themselves' (HCHT), our goal is to raise $5000 so we can run extensive Medical Clinic days, buy rice for feeding distributions, participate in De-Licing villages, buy Water Filters for villages, and visit the children in the Orphanage which was built by 'HCHT'.
